ANNUAL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING MONDAY 15TH MAY 2023 AT 7.45PM IN THE MACEY ROOM
Present: Cllrs Roebuck, Day, Carr, Traynor. Ron was welcomed as a new member and thanks were expressed to Kevin Thorpe for his past service.

- Alan Roebuck elected as Chair, proposed David Day, seconded Trudy Carr
- Julian Melloy elected as Vice Chair proposed Trudy Carr seconded Ron Traynor
- Allocation of roles a) Village Hall – Jules & Alan
b) Playpark & play equipment – Alan & Jules
c) Highways & Transport -Trudy & Ron
d) Footpaths – David
4. Appoint member to attend Tendring District Association of Local Councils (TDALC) – Ron & Kathy
5. Council adopted all general policies for: Standing Orders, Financial Regs, Asset Register, Insurance & Complaints.
6. Asset Register updated to include: Village Hall & Car Park, Cole Wood, Playpark & Play Equipment, Street Lighting, street furniture, park & wood benches, bomb shelter.
7. The Insurance policy with Zurich was approved for next three years at a premium of £1118.99 per annum (cost is shared with VHCommittee)
8. The end of year financial forms (AGAR) were signed off as correct and will be published from 20th June 2023.
9. Meeting dates for year were agreed (these may be subject to alteration with availability of Councillors)
